Since moving to Santa Cruz, Matthew Lavin has been named Chancellor of the Monterey Bay UAV Flight School and is working to establish education and certification for the UAV/UAS industry. With 20 years RC experience, he is also ICG, LOCAL 600 and an accredited member of AUVSI, RCAPA and AMA. Recently from New York City, originally from Chicago, Matthew Lavin has been in production all his life. Schooled as a classically trained puppeteer, and having worked with such innovative tech-forward artists such as Blue Man Group, Disney and Jim Henson Productions, Matthew became an automation & robotics devotee. His professional background encompasses years working onset in NYC in cinematography, commercial photography, props – electrician, grip/gaff and production management. An image and technology junkie, Matthew found his true calling manifest as a UAV pilot and cameraman. Matthew enjoys buying new lenses, capturing his pro-surfer friends being epic, expanding awareness of the UAV industry and building with Cecil the shop dog.

Zubeyir Mentese has been Flying remote aircraft since the early days. He has years of experience working on feature film and television sets flying countless missions as an aerial DP, UAV pilot and camera operator in the cinematronics industry. His company Copter Optics helps us develop custom solutions for commercial and industrial clients using computer vision, delivery, and motion control systems for drones. Zubeyir is also an avid sailer, cyclist, and outdoorsman and brings his passion, endurance and attention to detail to the Aerography team.

Renaissance man Jarród Bérubé brings years of cutting edge camera work and production experience to the Aerography team. Critically acclaimed cinematographer and aerial post-production guru, Jarród offers technical expertise on camera while creatively contributing invaluable art direction and design skills to the Aerography team.
PRODUCTION & COORDINATION
Jaye Murdock lends her years of award winning production experience and business acumen to the Aerography team. Born and raised in a production RV, Jaye exists to service clients, provide quotes, coordinate shoot logistics, market Aerography and solve any and all production issues at warp speed.
